ANZ Smart Choice Super Lifestage investment options’ performance

ANZ’s Smart Choice Super Lifestage investment options structure their asset allocation - the balance between higher-return, higher-risk assets and more conservative choices - based on members’ age.

This is designed to reduce investment risk as a member gets closer to retirement. It can also have inflation-beating benefits of holding sufficient higher-returning growth assets both on the way to and in retirement.

Based on your decade of birth, the table below shows how your investment option performed over the past quarter as well as over one, three and five-year periods to end 31 December 2023.
